Elizabeth began her foray into counseling while working as a Casting Director for Television and Films in NYC. When her productions would go on hiatus during the summer months, she volunteered as a special needs counselor. In time, Elizabeth realized that helping people reach their goals and achieve success — no matter what obstacles and barriers stood in the way — was a monumental passion of hers, as it remains today.
After Elizabeth left the entertainment industry, she became a Special Education Teacher, receiving her Masters in Elementary Education and Special Education from Hofstra University in 2008. She taught for ten years in the field then left to further pursue her commitment to helping people reconstruct their lives. Elizabeth has experienced recovery from both sides; her experiences have empowered her with vast knowledge, shared history and the ability to utilize these attributes as a powerful driving force to cultivate the achievement of overall wellness.
As a trained Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) Recovery Coach, Elizabeth is a partner, advocate, mentor, spiritual guide, and support system to help people live a healthy and full lifestyle.
